Lake County Haven: Transitional Shelter and Housing Programs
Sep. 10, 2026
Kalie Schultz is the Development Coordinator at Lake County Haven. Kalie grew up in the suburbs of Minneapolis, Minnesota, and has also lived in Seattle, Washington, and Montpellier, France. After graduating from the University of Minnesota, she began her career in event planning, organizing weddings and large events before moving into the corporate events field. Seeking a career focused more directly on serving others, Kalie transitioned to the nonprofit sector and ultimately joined Lake County Haven. Kalie lives in Lake Zurich with her husband and two sons. Outside of work, she enjoys biking, gardening, healthy cooking, and traveling. Lake County Haven works to empower homeless women and their children to achieve permanent, independent living. Through its transitional shelter and housing programs, the organization provides safe housing, case management, and supportive services designed to help residents address the causes of homelessness and move toward long-term stability and self-sufficiency. |

Oct. 01, 2026 6:30 p.m.
Join the Rotary Club of Gurnee for our First Thursday Fellowship, a relaxed monthly gathering focused on fellowship, conversation, and strengthening connections among club members. Instead of our regular morning meeting, members gather in the evening at a local venue for an informal opportunity to catch up, get to know one another better, and enjoy time together outside the usual meeting format. There is no formal program or guest speaker. Just good conversation and Rotary fellowship. |
