Modernizing the Lake County Circuit Clerk’s Office

The Rotary Club of Gurnee will welcome Erin Cartwright Weinstein, Clerk of the Circuit Court of Lake County, as our guest speaker this Thursday.

The Circuit Clerk’s Office is an important part of the local court system, but many residents may not be familiar with what it does. The office maintains court records, handles filings, processes fines and fees, supports online access to case information, and provides services used by residents, attorneys, law enforcement, and the courts.

Clerk Weinstein will discuss the role of her office and the work being done to modernize court-related services in Lake County, including expanded digital records, online access, case-management improvements, and efforts to make the office more efficient and easier for the public to use.
